Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #94-09: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~ APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT #94-__ AND ISSUING A <br />NEGATIVE FINDING FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br />WORKSHEET~ FOR SUNWOOD DRIVE N.W. CONNECTION BETWEEN <br />KRYPTON STREET N.W. AND INDUSTRY AVENUE N.W. (COUNTY ROAD <br />#116) <br /> <br /> WHERE,~S, the City of Ramsey is considering the construction of Sunwood Drive N.W. <br />between Krypton Street N.W. and Industry Avenue N.W. (County Road #116); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed project consists of 1.3 miles of street construction; and <br /> r <br /> WHEREAS, under the rules of the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board <br />Environmental Review Prog-ram, the construction of the new street is, under rules # 4410.4300 <br />Subp. 22 & Subp.~27, required to go through a mandatory EAW process; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 30 day review and comment period for the EAW ended on May 26, <br />1994; and r <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed Findings of Fact were presented to the City Councilmembers <br />for their review oO August 22, 1994; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a copy of the proposed Findings was made available to members of the <br />public on August 22, 1994 and, thereafter, a copy has been on file in the office of the City <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFDRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That Cityr~COuncil approves the Findings of Fact which conclude that the proposed <br /> Sunwood .Drive N.W. between Krypton Street N.W. and Industry Avenue N.W. (County <br /> Road #116) does not have the potential for significant environmental effects. <br /> <br />2) That City Council authorizes the Mayor to sign the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That City Council directs City Staff to forward a copy of the Findings of Fact and notice of <br />decision on the EAW to the Environmental Quality Board (EQB) for publication in the EOB <br />Monitor. ' <br /> <br />4) That City Council directs City Staff to forward copies within five (5) working days of the <br /> decision on the EAW to all persons on the EAW distribution list and to all persons who <br /> comment~ on the EAW. <br /> <br />The motion for th~ adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following Voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />,-/5 <br /> <br /> <br />
