She explained that topography in the rear yard declines rapidly and
would require a si[bstanfial amount of fill and removal of very mature trees to access. She noted
that there is substlmtial tree growth between the proposed building and Sunfish Lake Boulevard
N.W. to provide s~..ening.
CITIZEN INPFjT

James McChesne~, the applicant, stated he put up a swimming pool in the proposed area in 1972
with 8-foot walls, intending to eventually put up this building. He explained that he plans to store
his recreational v~hicle in the building to keep it out of site. He feels the building will only add
value to the prope ~r~3,, because it will be an am'active building.

Ms. Frolik stated flaat Bill Wall, Mr. M¢Chesneyts neighbor, stopped by the City offices to state
his objections. Sh~ explained that he believes Mr. M¢Chesney~s front property line is farther back
than indicatedan~ that the side property line is only 6 feet from the proposed building site.
Apparently there i~ some discrepancy regarding the location of the stakes, therefore Ms. Frolik
advised Mr. McC~sney may also need a side yard setback variance.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by
hearing.

Board Member Bawden and sec~n~ by Board Member Deemer to adjourn the public

Public Hearing/Board

of Adjustment/September 7, 1993

I
