Councilrnember ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION g94-03- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR ~rHE ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF A SELF-SERVICE <br />STORAGE FACILITY, BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #_~, AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF SAME. <br /> WHERE~S, William Dubats has properly applied for a conditional use permit on the <br />property legally d~scribed as follows: : <br /> <br /> Lot 3, BlOCk 3, RIVERSIDE WEST, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />("Site) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission met on March 3, 1994, conducted a <br />public hearing and recommended City Council approval of the request; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment met on March 17, 1994, and granted a variance to <br />the 30% maximu~ impervious surface area established by Section 9.21.07 (Critical River Overlay <br />District DevelopMent Standards) of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />CITY <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />OF RAI~ISEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Term. ~T~is permit shall remain in effect so long as the conditions imposed herein are <br />complied ,with. This permit shall not be in effect until ail required permits have been <br />received f~.~m the City. f. <br /> <br />Activity. ~The operation of the facility shall be specifically limited to that described in <br />William D~ubats' application description dated received by the City on February 3, 1994, <br />together With site plan dated February 2, 1994, revision February 25, 1994 C. <br />Surfacin~ and Curbing of Areas. Ail maneuvering areas and driveway areas shall be <br />surfaced With either bituminous or concrete. The perimeter of the pavement shall be <br />finished v~ith B-612 continuous concrete curbing in accordance with the recommendations <br />of the Ci~ Engineer. <br />Outside Storage. There shall be no outside storage permitted on the Site. <br />Screening[. Screening shall consist of tree plantings along the west and south property <br />lines. TOo-thirds of the trees planted shall be Spruce or Pine to provide year around <br />screening.! In lieu of the limited amount of space available for plantings along the west <br />property l~e, the City herein grants permission for the required screening to be established <br />within the ~ark trail corridor that runs parallel to, the west property line. <br />Hours of Operation. The hours of operation shall-be limited to <br />Security. [Site security shall be provided by 6 foot high woven wire fence. <br />Lighting. i Any lighting on the premises used to illuminate the structures or parking areas <br />shall be arl'anged to deflect away from any adjoining public street or residential property. <br /> <br /> <br />
