I AND ~TAX INCREMENT AND FINANCING PLAN FOR ~FAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 2 By: Ryan Schroeder, City Administrator and Jim Gromberg, Project Manager Background: : The City is proposing the modification of the Development Program and Tax Increment Financing Plan for Developinent District No. 1; Tax Increment Financing District No. 2. The proposed modifications ar~!for site improvements for the Sunfish Square subdivision and utility system improvements in Development District No. 1. State statute requires that the Planning & Zoning Commission find that the modifications are consistent with th$ Comprehensive Plan. As you are aware, preliminary plat approval for Sunfish Square was recorfiynended on October 5, 1993 by the Planning & Zoning Commission. Attached for you_¢,information is a copy of the Proposed Modified Plan for Development District No. 1, Tax Increr~ent District No. 2. Staff Recomme~ndation: City Staff recormpends the Ramsey Planning Commission find that the modified Development Program for Development District No. 1 and the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District, No. 2 is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Ramsey. Commission Action: Motion that the P-d)msey Planning Commission has found that the modified Development Program for Development District No. 1 and the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 2 is cbnsistent with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Ramsey Reviewed by: City Administrator Project Manager !
