Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -12 -258 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2011, PAYABLE 2012, MUNICIPAL TAX LEVY <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the following levies for assessed 2011, payable 2012, be levied upon the taxable <br />property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following <br />purposes: <br />GENERAL LEVY <br />Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br />Fiscal Disparity Transfer (as certified) $ 1,452,085 <br />Collected as Property Tax — EDA Levy 169,853 <br />Collected as Property Tax — General Levy 5,545,065 <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br />CIP Bond 151,386 <br />Certificates of Indebtedness $ 185,194 <br />Lease Revenue Bonds 910,215 <br />2) That this final levy does not exceed the Proposed Levy adopted September 13, 2011. <br />3) That the City will not be levying the $357,853.13 related to the $4,225,000 GO <br />Improvement Bond, Series 2005B, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County. <br />Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the total $1,513,215 related to the Project <br />Lease Revenue Bond for the Municipal Center. The City will levy $910,215 and fund the <br />remainder debt payment with funds encumbered from 2010. <br />5) That the City Administrator /Clerk be directed to transmit a certified copy of this <br />resolution to the Anoka County Auditor's office on or before Wednesday, December 28, <br />2011. <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor <br />Ramsey and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />$ 7,167,003 <br />$ 1,246,795 <br />TOTAL CERTIFIED LEVIES $ 8,413,798 <br />
