Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -10 -200 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO ASPHALT SURFACE <br />TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION FOR DIVISION A (IP 11 -01 THROUGH 11 -04) <br />2011 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above - referenced work on June 14, 2011; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2011 Street Maintenance <br />Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on July 15, 2011; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to Asphalt Surface Technologies <br />Corporation in the amount of $248,475.18. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends final payment to Asphalt Surface Technologies <br />Corporation in the amount of $23,082.04. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Asphalt Surface Technologies <br />Corporation for the 2011 Street Maintenance Program — Division A in the amount of <br />$23,082.04. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the pay request and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of October 25, 2011. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Wise and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />RESOLUTION #11 -10 -200 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
