Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -10 -201 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO NORTH VALLEY INC. FOR <br />DIVISION B OF THE 2010 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above referenced work on May 11, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2010 Street Maintenance <br />Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on July 1, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to North Valley Inc. in the amount of <br />$157,573.11. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to North Valley Inc. in the amount of <br />$170.396.28. <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends final payment to North Valley Inc. in the amount of <br />$17,261.55. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to North Valley Inc. for the 2010 <br />Street Maintenance Program — Division B in the amount of $17,261.55. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the pay request and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of October 25, 2011. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Wise upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -10 -201 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
