Motion by Councilmember Wise, seconded by Mayor Ramsey, to adopt Resolution #11 -12 -246 <br /> adopting the City of Ramsey's 2012- 2016.Capital Improvement Program (CIP). <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Wise, Elvig, McGlone, <br /> Strommen, and Tossey. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Backous. <br /> 6.04: Public Hearing and Adopt Ordinance Establishing the 2012 Schedule of Rates, Fees <br /> & Charges <br /> Mayor Ramsey closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 8:07 p.m. in order to <br /> conduct a public hearing. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Mayor Ramsey called the public hearing to order at 8:07 p.m. <br /> Councilmember Backous returned to the Council dais at 8:08 p.m. <br /> Presentation <br /> Finance Officer Lund reviewed the staff report. <br /> Citizen Input <br /> There was none. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Wise, seconded by Councilmember Tossey, to close the public <br /> hearing. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Wise, Tossey, Backous, Elvig, <br /> McGlone, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> The public hearing was closed at 8:10 p.m. <br /> Council Business <br /> Mayor Ramsey called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 8:10 p.m. <br /> Councilmember McGlone stated his intention to oppose adoption of this ordinance because he <br /> did not believe there had been enough reductions. He supported a line -by -line consideration to <br /> eliminate or reduce every fee possible. <br /> Councilmember Tossey stated this is a good start but agreed it was not enough of a reduction, <br /> especially related to development fees, and he intended to oppose adoption of this ordinance. <br /> City Council / December 13, 2011 <br /> Page 8of15 <br />
