REQUEST <br /> <br /> CASE # I <br />FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A HOME OCCUPATION; <br /> CASE OF JEFFREY AND JULIE LORGE <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Jeffrey and Julie Lorge of 17310 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. have applied for a conditional use permit <br />for a home occupation. They would like to establish and operate a one-chair beauty salon <br />operation in their home. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br />e) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Sit~ plan <br />FlOor plan <br />Proposed findings of fact <br />PrOposed conditional use permit <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />In accordance wit. h the City's regulations for home occupations, the area devoted to the business <br />would not exceeds. 20% of the total floor area of the home. The employees would be restricted to <br />the residents of tl~e home. The driveway is large enough to provide a sufficient amount of off- <br />street parking for a one-chair operation. <br /> <br />Also in accordance with Section 9.11.04 (Home Occupations) of the Ramsey City Code, if <br />granted, the permit would not be transferrable from person to person or property to property. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends approval of the request. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to:: <br />Recommend that City Council adopt Resolution #94-05-.. adopting Findings of Fact <br />#. retad~ng to a request for a home occupation permit at 17310 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Recommend that City Council adopt Resolution #94-05- approving the issuance of a <br />conditmnal use permit for a home occupation at 17310 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />PC: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator <br />5/3/94 <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br /> <br />
