Councilmember <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~q94-07- <br /> <br />RESOLUTIO~ ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM INDUSTRIAL TO R.1 URBAN RESIDENTIAL, MULTIPLE <br />RESIDENTIAL AND B-2 BUSINESS <br /> <br /> WHERDAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Sect/on 9.03:.03 of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY,!ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Nomh Suburban Development Company, inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", <br />has propef'lv applied to rezone certain property from Indusmal to R-I Urban Residential, <br />Multiple ~sidential and B-2 Business. ' <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City ~'ode on July 5, 1994 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that <br />the rninut~-s of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> Ti'le Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 26, Township <br /> Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota; <br /> <br />or upon rgcording: <br /> <br /> SUNFISH SQUARE, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />4. The total area of the property to ly~ rezoned is approximately forty (40) acres. <br /> <br />That the subject property is currently zoned Industrial. <br /> <br />That the i;ubject property is bounded on the north and east by R-I Urban Residential <br />zoning, a~.nd the parcels on the south side of C.S.A.I--I. 116 and on the west side of <br />C.S.A.H. ~.57 are zoned Industrial. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to develop Sunfish Square with single family urban <br />residential lots, multi-family residential lots and a commercial lot. <br /> <br />That on ~pril 12, 1994, the Ramsev City Council arant~ preliminao, plat approval to <br />Sunfish Square with the understanding'that the p~operr3 would be developed with a <br />combination of single family and multi-fa.mily units.and a commercial comer. <br /> <br />That on June 14, 1994, the Ramsey City Council grained final plat approval to Sunfish <br />Square v~i~ the understanding that the Council was commiting to adoption of a subsequent <br />ordinance!to rezone the property for development with single and multi-family units and a <br />commercial comer. <br /> <br /> <br />
