Councilmember <br />adopt:ion: <br /> <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO <br />REBECCA JACKSON'S REQUEST FOR A CONDITION~USE PERMIT TO <br />MAINTAIN AN ACCESSORY APARTMENT IN A SINGLE FAMILY <br />DWELLING UNIT IN THE R-I RURAL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Rebecca Jackson, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit to maintain an accessory apartment in a single family dwelling <br />unit in the R-1 Rural Residential District on the property generally known as 15720 I~angaroos <br />Street N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 4, Block 8, WHISPER]:NG PINES ESTATES PLAT 3, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission for a public <br />hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Rarnsey City Code on July 5, 1994, and that the <br />public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the subject property is approximately two (2) acres in size. <br /> <br />3. That the subject property is zoned R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />That the surrounding properties are also zoned R-1 Rural Resident/al. <br /> <br />That according to Rarnsey CiLv Code Section 9.20.] i, the R-l Rural Residential District is <br />intended for single family dwelling units. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to lease the lowest level of the 3-level split as a one (1) <br />beciroom accesso~, apartment with its own kitchen and bath faciLities. <br /> <br />7. That there are other sirrdlar permitted conditional uses in the single famJ. ly d/smct. <br /> <br />8.
