ANOKA COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT <br /> RIGHT-OF-WAY REQUIREMENTS POLICY <br /> <br />DATED: MAY, 1994 <br /> <br />THESE RIGHT-OF-WAY REQUIREMENTS ARE BASED ON THE FUNCTIONAL <br />CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM DEVELOPED IN PART BY ANOKA COUNTY, IN <br />COOPERATION WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND <br />THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL. <br /> <br />PRINCIPAL ARTERIALS: FOCUS IS 95% ON MOBILITY/5% LAND ACCESS. NO DIRECT <br />LAND ACCESS IS DESIRABLE. ALL DRIVEWAYS SHOULD BE TO SERVICE ROAD OR LOCAL <br />INTERSECTING STREETS. FULL INTERSECTIONS SHOULD BE TO MINOR ARTERIALS AND <br />COLLECTORS SPACED AT NOT CLOSER THAN ~/;~ MILE (CROSS STREET STOP, OR SIGNALIZED - IF <br />WARRANTED). <br /> <br /> I<- 60' <br /> COUNTY HIGHWAY SERVI(:E DRIVE BLVD.
