Format and PrGcedures <br /> <br />The procedure for applying for the City of Ramsey, Park and Recreation Charitable Gambling <br />Fund Improvemeot Program is to supply an answer to each of the qualifying and priority criteria's <br />contained within ~is application. In most eases a "Yes" or "No" or "N/A" may suffice, in some <br />instances a sentence or an attachment may be needed. The applicant may also reference other areas <br />of the application (e.g.: please see objectives, or please see narrative) <br /> <br />After responding to the criteria, the applicant should provide a project description or narrative. <br />Generally less than a page should be adequate. Pictures or sketches may be helpful. <br /> <br />Attached to the narrative should be the project's expected outcomes and a brief summary of each of <br />the projects objectives. Within the application, be 'sure that in addition, the following elements of <br />the project are dis~'ussed: <br /> <br />1) <br />2) <br />3) <br />4) <br />5) <br />6) <br />7) <br /> <br />8) <br />9) <br /> <br />Timeline - Start to completion <br />Budget - Total required and sources <br />Cooperators - Including documentation of all commitments <br />Experience - include references to similar activities <br />Have any of the fundable activities commenced <br />Are any individuals or groups potentially adversely affected <br />Is the applicant prepared to make financial commitments for future operation and <br />maintenance <br />Has the project been reviewed by any other funding source <br />Is there an economic development aspect to the project <br /> <br />Oualifving Criteria <br /> <br />The following statements are intended to guide proposers in determining which projects will be <br />eligible or more likely to be funded: <br /> <br /> The project should clearly and primarily benefit both youth and identified recreational needs <br /> in Ramsey. <br /> <br />The project should have a low degree of liability or that which is commonly associated with <br />recreation md parks. <br /> <br />The project should not be more appropriately funded by another source. <br /> <br />Priority Criteria <br /> <br />The following priority statements are intended to encourage quality projects that make the fullest <br />use of City resources: <br /> <br />Does the project provide for a recreational facet not yet developed in Ramsey or otherwise <br />unlikely to occur? <br /> <br />Does the project have a high degree of being repeated or increasing in value? <br /> <br />The projects outcome should not require a high degree of maintenance relative to its <br />"worth". <br /> <br />The project, if possible, should have more than one potential user group. <br /> <br /> <br />
