PURCHASING TWO FIRE DEPARTMENT PAGERS <br /> BY: Fire Chief, Dave Griffin <br /> <br />CASE # 4 <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Fire Department is authorized to have a membership of 30 Fire Fighters. We currently have <br />25 Fire Fighters and a recommendation in this Fire Board Agenda to bring on two additional. This <br />will mean that the Fire Department will need two additional pagers. (There are four additional <br />pagers requested in the 1995 budget - which are still receiving consideration.) <br /> <br />I have spoken with Finance Officer Jessie Hart who indicated there are sufficient dollars within the <br />Fire Department budget to purchase two pagers at an approximate total cost of $900.
