AEC must receive 24 hour notice to read a meter <br />for a customer transfer. <br /> <br /> The city shall maintain its remote meter reading system in <br />good workinglcondition and will use its best efforts to repair any <br />defective me,er unit before the next meter reading cycle. If the <br />remote meter reading system does not function satisfactorily or is <br />improperly ihstalled, AEC will not be required to read the meter. <br />For new installations, AEC prefers that the remote pad be located <br /> <br />by the electric meter. <br /> <br /> (3) collection services. <br />shall include the following: <br /> <br />AEC's optional Collection Services <br /> <br />Postage and mailing of disconnect notices to <br />customers who are delinquent by more than 60 days. <br /> <br />Contacting and responding to customers concerning <br />delinquent accounts. <br /> <br />Posting of customer's Property with disconnect <br />notices and/or notice of adding past due balances <br />to real property taxes. <br /> <br />(i) Application of Collection Services Payments. <br /> <br />Payments received by AEC as a result of its Collection Service <br />efforts shall be applied to t-he customer's account using a priority <br />rating system. This system rates each service within an aging <br />group, which is defined as amount owing for 30 days, an amount <br />owing for 60 days, etc. If the City elects the Optional collection <br />service, the city shall receive first priority for revenues <br />received on accounts that have received a disconnect notice. If <br />the City elects not to use the collection service, AEC will receive <br /> <br /> <br />
