The following are standard reports: Billinq Report - this report should be provided to the City quarterly, after each billing period has been completed. This report ~hould be prepared in remote number order and provide all bi~ling detail for the current quarter, including a summarl~ by service codes billed that quarter. cash Receipts Report - this report should be provided to the city each time a check is disbursed, from AEC to the City, for cash receipts in a given period of time. This report should include a summary of cash received broken down by service codes. Accounts Receivable Aging Report - this report should be provid.~ to the City at least once per week, should list all accounts by service address, and indicate current and delinqu~ent balances for each service address. In periods of heavy ~ctivity, the City may request this report twice per week. (3) Bi~ling Services Payment. The City shall remit payment to AEC for b$11ing services rendered within fifteen (15) days after receipt of A~C's statement itemizing such services. (4) Performance by AEC. AEC agrees.that it will use its best efforts to p~rform the Basic Services and the Optional Services if elected by Qity in accordance with the standards that it uses in performing these services for its own members. AEC's liability to the City shall be limited to its failure to comply with those standards. ~EC specifically agrees that it will comply with all state statutJes applicable to electric cooperatives governing the disconnection of utility services. (5) Independent contractor. AEC is performing the services agreed to h~rein for the City-as an independent contractor, and nothing herein shall create any association, partnership, or joint 6
