Response to public inquiries on City matters; <br /> <br />Formal and informal advice on personnel matters <br />including interpretations of federal, state and <br />local rules and regulations relating to personnel <br />matters; and <br /> <br />Staff meetings and meetings as deemed necessary by <br />the City Administrator in order to maintain <br />communication and give legal advice on various City <br />issues. <br /> <br />C~mpensation: The City shall compensate each Firm <br />attorney licensed to practice law for those services <br />described in Paragraph 2 above, the following hourly <br />rates: <br /> <br />$80.00 per hour in 1995 and 1996 <br />$~5.00 per hour in 1997. <br /> <br />T~e City shall compensate paralegals and law clerks at <br />the rate of $30.00 per hour during 1995, 1996 and 1997. <br /> <br />The present flat rate of $100.00 per meeting will <br />continue during the term of this Agreement for attendance <br />ak Council and Commission meetings. <br /> <br />There will be no separate charge for clerical staff. <br /> <br />The Firm shall also be separately reimbursed for any <br />c~sts and disbursements which it incurs in connection <br />with providing any of the services described in Paragraph <br />2 of this letter. Reimbursable costs and disbursements <br />shall not include charges for secretarial or word <br />p~ocessing services. Billings by the City Attorney to <br />t~e City for services, costs and disbursements shall be <br />made monthly or that frequency as directed by the City <br />F~nance Officer. The billing statement shall be of <br />s~fficient detail to adequately inform the City <br />c~ncerning the tasks performed, the attorney performing <br />t~em, the time spent on each such task and the nature and <br />the e×tent of costs and disbursements. <br /> <br />It is the intention of the parties and it is hereby <br />a~reed by the City Attorney, that the term "primary legal <br /> <br /> <br />
