CASE # ~ <br /> [ <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE APPR,A;,ISAL/ACQUISITION OF RIGHT.OF-WAY/EASEMENT <br />FOR UT!LITY EXTENSION FOR ANOKA ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE <br /> By: Steven Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On June 14, 199~4, the City Council initiated several actions relating to the expansion of Anoka <br />Electric Coopera[ive into a new facility proposed in Section 27. At that meeting, the City Council <br />authorized a feasibility study on the project, and also authorized proposals for engineering services <br />to provide ufilityiextensions to this facihty. It is anticipated that at least a portion of the utility will <br />need to be ext',haled to the facility outside of existing fights-of-way or utility easements. <br />Consequently, w~ will need to obtain easements and/or fight-of-way to facilitate these extensions. <br /> <br />Recommenciat[on: <br /> <br />City Staff is recommending authorization to solicit proposals from qualified firms for the appraisal <br />and fight-of-waylacquisition services for this extension. <br /> <br />Council Actioa: <br /> <br />Motion to autho~ze Staff to obtain proposals for appraisal/acquisition of fight-of-way/easements <br />for utility extensibn for Anoka Elecn-ic Cooperative. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Admimsu-ator <br />City Engineer <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />FC: 8/22/94 <br /> <br /> <br />
