Commissioner Fulls suggested that an initial requirement may be the number of jobs that have been added or retained ~y the business reflecting community involvement, and a minimum of five years of length of servic4 to the community. Motion by CommiSsioner Ullen and seconded by Commissioner Fults to approve the requirements for consideration f/~r induction into the Hall of Fame with the addition of the number of jobs added to or retained by ~e business and a minimum of five years of involvement in the community. Motion carried. ~Voting Yes: Chairperson Wagner, Commissioners Nelson, Ullen, Fults, Greenberg, Kent ~d Stafld. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Gorecki and Peterson. At 8:15 Commissipners Kent and Nelson were excused from the meeting. Case #3: 199~3 Business Appreciation Day Recap. The Fifth Annual Business Appreciation Day was held on August 27, 1993 at Rum River Hills Golf Course. This year's event had 14 teams golfing and approximately 68 people for dinner. A wide variety of ve~ nice prizes were donated for the event. Everyone seemed to have a good time; however, next year some minor planning changes may be in order. These changes include changing it from a!Friday for those who may be planning to go out of town for the weekend, better explain the concep~ of a "Best Ball Tournament" to encourage wider participation, encourage more business women to become involved. ADJOURNMENT Motion by CommiSsioner Ullen and seconded by Commissioner l::ults to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
