CASE #1 <br /> <br /> RECOMMEND APPOINTMENT OF NEW <br /> E(IONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> er, <br /> By.~ James Gromberg, Economic Development Coordinator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Economic Dqvelopment Commission has interviewed the following candidates for the current <br />vacancies on the F_,DC: <br /> <br />Dick Kimbler <br />Thomas Kurak <br />Mike Marquan <br />Samuel McGhee <br /> <br />Ms. Virginia Sp~iin-Bfist was absent from both of the interview sessions, therefore the EDC <br />should not be considering her appointment at this time. For your review, I have enclosed the <br />application mate~als from all of the applicants. Commission members should also review the <br />minutes from bom interview sessions. <br /> <br />The City Council i~as not yet taken action with regard to the recommendation to reduce the size of <br />the EDC to seven ~nembers. The memorandum requesting this change was inadvertently left out of <br />the recent consenl agenda.
