Any revisions or refinements to the Plan will be addressed <br />bY the Pa~k and Recreation Commission. <br />The Preliminary Dra~ Trail Plan is being presei~ted to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commissi, n to demonstrate relationships between the Land Use Plan, Thoroughfare <br />Plan and ,he Trail Plan. These relationships take many forms and present many <br />opportunil es. One such opportunity is potential to include the width of off-road trails <br />in open sp ce dedications. Another opportunity is inclusion of on-road trail widths in <br />dedication or acquisitions for roadway rights-of-way. <br /> <br />TRAIL S~STEM GOALS <br /> <br />Goals taken from the City's 1993 Comprehensive Parks and Open Space Plan and <br />informatio~ from Mr. Marl~ Boos, City ParksfUtiIities Supervisor, were used to develop <br />the Prelirn~i. nary Draft Trail Plan. These were presented to the Comprehensive Plan <br />Study Co ~r~mittee in an April 6, 1994 memorandum, but are outlined below for the <br />benefit of $11 Commission members. . <br /> <br />1.
