Chairperson ~teffen added that the Charter Commission should interview the candidates <br />following the !!994 election. He felt this would give the Commission insight into the issues <br />being discussed. <br /> <br />Motion by COmmissioner Marn and seconded by Commissioner Nelson that the Charter <br />Commission Would not affect a change for the 1994 election with regard to at large versus a <br />ward system, ~rms of the Mayor, Primary Elections, and the filing requirements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Steffen, Commissioners Marn, Nelson, <br />Donovan, Kiefer, Spain-Brist and Swokowski. Voting No: None. Absent: <br />Commissione~ Goo&. <br /> <br />Commission! He invited the Commission to submit <br />any suggestions for discussion to the Recording Secretary prior to the next meeting. <br /> <br />Commissione/Nelson suggested discussing the parameters for interviewing the 1994 <br />candidates. ' <br /> <br />2) Charter <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder noted that the Commission had just received an updated copy <br />of the City Carter <br /> [~ . .
