She explained that topography in the rear yard declines rapidly and
would require a Substantial amOllllt of fill and removal of very mature trees to access. She ~aoted
that there is sub~cnrial nee growth between the proposed building and Sunfish Lake Boulevard
N.W. to provide ~creening.

CITIZEN INPUT

James McChesney, the applicant, stated he put up a swimming pool in the proposed area in 1972
with 8-foot walls} intending to eventually put up this building, lie explaLned that he plans to store
his recreational qehicle in the building to keep it out of site. He feels the building will only add
value to the propeg'ty, because it will be an am'active building.

Ms. Frolik stated~ that Bill Wall, Mr. McChesney's neighbor, stopped by the City offices to state
his objections. S~e explained that he believes Mr. McChesney's front property line is farther back
than indicated aged that the side property line is only 6 feet from the proposed building site.
Apparently there!is some discrepancy regarding the location of the stakes, therefore Ms. Frolik
advised Mr. McC~3esney may also need a side yard setback variance.

ADJOURNMENT

Morion by Boar~ Member Bawden and seconded by Board Member Deemer to adjourn the' public
hearing.

P~blic Hearing/Board of Adjustment/September 7,
Page I of 2

1993
