Quotes and Recommendations: <br /> Obtain proposals and quotes from qualified underwriters on a net of commission <br /> basis if available, for improving Insurance coverage, and work with the City's staff <br /> ani:l advisors to study and impartially evaluate all Insurance proposals received, in <br /> re.fi'ns of the coverage provided, financial standing and services of the Underwriter <br /> and ultimate net cost to City, and provide an insurance policy inventory and <br /> summary, updated annually. <br /> <br />D. N~gotiate, Review Proposals and Claims: <br /> COnduct on behalf of City all negotiations with all Insurance representatives and <br /> cotnpanies relating to issuance and maintenance of policies, audits, premium reports <br /> an~ all similar matters customarily handled by Insurance Agents, Brokers, and <br /> Advisors, including the obligation to make diligent efforts to continue any <br /> terminated policies. If Agent is unable to obtain any Insurance coverage, City <br /> sh$11 obtain the coverage from another source. City's staff and advisors shall be <br /> kept fully informed of all significant changes. Audited and approved policies, <br /> en~lorsements and invoices shall be delivered to City with respect to all Insured <br /> loa~es, and shall semi-annually review liability and worker's compensation reserves <br /> listed by Insurance career and rating bureau, and offer recommendation to City. <br /> <br /> ln~iurance invoices to City shall include a breakdown of policy premium by <br /> cla~ssification for budget allocation purposes, and a statement of fees payable. <br /> Premiums shall be remitted as invoiced. . <br /> <br />E. L0~s Control: <br /> A~,ent shall serve as Advisor along with insurance company personnel with respect <br /> to Loss Control and Safety Engineering Programs. Services include inspection of <br /> pl~ts and properties; pre-consu-uction review of plans and specifications for new <br /> buO.dings and extensive alterations. This is in addition to and does not include <br /> se~ces provided by employees or persons engaged by the Insurance Company. <br /> <br />Onior before the first day of September, Agent shall submit an annual report of the <br />wokk performed during the year, the results achieved, premiums paid and losses <br />in,fred on insured risks, a summary of the current insurance program and any <br />outstanding unfulfilled recommendations for risk, coverage or cost improvement. <br /> <br />F. ctanmunications: <br /> No: charge phone accessibility, written confirmation and follow-up of <br /> co ~qunications with City and Underwriters. Assist City's staff and advisors in <br /> the~application and use of Risk Management procedures and information systems. <br /> <br />G. Other Services: 1. Prepare, with the City of Ramsey, all insurance Coverage specifications. <br /> 2. Review, with the City of Ramsey, policies when ~ssued for compliance with <br /> sp~ifications. <br /> 3. Nei~otiate and place all property-casualty insurance lines required, with uniform <br /> an~versary date. <br /> 4.
