The <br />City issued 24 new home permits and is currently on track to build a total of 259 new <br />homes in 1994, This compares to the 302 homes that were projected to be constructed at <br />the beginninggf the year. This would equate to a population increase of approximately 889 <br />new residentsifor the City. Based upon the population at the end of 1993, the City will <br />have an estim~ted population of 15,278 residents. <br /> <br />The City is cUgrently developing the projections for 1995 for the attached reports. As some <br />of you may b~l aware, the City will be using the number 180 for new homes for 1995. I <br />have also revi[wecl the available lots and made some changes to the total number of lots <br />available. <br /> <br />The City has l:eceived notification that the MUSA expansion will receive a final on its <br />approval or de~aial by January 11, 1995. The Metropolitan Council Staff has indicated that <br />they will be m :ommending approval of the 442-acre expansion. <br /> <br /> <br />
