Councilmember ~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: : RESOLUTION #94-11- ~ RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING INTERIOR P4INTING AT 14100 JASPAR STREET N.W. FACILITY) CONTRACT FOR (PUBLIC WORKS // WHERE~S, on August 31, 1994, the City of Ramsey purchased the property located at 14100 Jaspar Street N.W. for the purpose of a public works facility; and WHEREJkS, the Finance Committee approved at their September 12, 1994 meeting, a remodeling budg& for the cement structure located on the site, for doors, HVAC/air exchange, roofing, electrical,!landscaping and paving; and WHEREJliS, the City Council on September 12, 1994, ratified the Finance Committees budget approval, .~tith not-to-exceed amounts, to be done pursuant to the Minnesota bid law; and WHERE~S, pursuant to the Minnesota bid law, written quotes were obtained for interior painting; and ~ WHERE~S, the following written quotes were received for the interior painting: MC~ales Interior Remodeling $ 6,900.00 Painting Specialists $ 7,000.00 Prcffessional Touch $14,607.00 AND WI{~REAS, Morales Interior Remodeling is the lowest bidder for the interior painting. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ~.NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, that the City Engineer and Public Works Bupervisor are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Morales Interior I~.emodeling in the name of the City of Ramsey for interior painting at 14100 Jaspar Street N. W½in the amount of $6,900.00 The motion for th~ adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and u~on vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same:
