The City of Ramsey along with nine other cities in Anoka <br />County will be splitting this grant money. The Safe and Sober~ program is a year-long, <br />statewide highway traffic safety program aimed at reducing alcohol related fatalities <br />and increasing safety belt and child seat usage in MN. The program will target high <br />risk times that enforcement agencies, will increase enforcement efforts by putting <br />extra shifts~..on duty to arrest violators. <br /> <br />Council members are asked to show their suport of the.'TSafe and Sober campaign and <br />are invited~ to ride with officers durring their ~nforcement shifts. <br /> <br />Jim Way <br /> <br /> <br />
