FOR 2003 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br /> WHERI~AS, on May 13, 2003, the Ramsey City Council authorized plans and <br /> specifications ankt advertisement for bids on 2003 Pavement Maintenance Program - Division B, <br /> and ~ <br /> <br /> WHERI~.AS, on June 10, 2003, the R amsey City Council adopted Resolution # 03-06- <br /> 147A awardingithe bid for 2003 Pavement Maintenance Program - Division B Universal <br /> Enterprises of lv~_~d-Minnesota, Inc. in the amount of $197,388.75, and <br /> <br /> WHER~AS, the work has been completed and final payment due the contractor for the <br />work has been d~termined to be $191,315.75, and <br /> ' <br /> <br /> WHER~ S, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends pa~ial payment to Universal Enterprises of Mid-Minnesota, Inc. in the amount of <br />$172,184.17, and <br /> <br /> WHERI~,AS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends final payment to Universal Enterprises of Mid-Minnesota, Inc. in the amount of <br />19,131.58. ~' <br /> ,. <br /> <br />NOW THEREI~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, AN(~KA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the i2ity Council hereby authorizes final payment to Universal Enterprises of Mid- <br /> Mmnesoqa for ~mprovement Project 2003 Pavement Maintenance Program - D~v~mon B <br /> in the ambunt of $19,131.58. <br /> <br />2) That theiCity Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor· or City <br /> Administ.i'ator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the l~tal amount of this paYment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br /> bills for t~e date of October 28, 2003. <br /> <br />4) That the~City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br /> resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for ~e adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and lpon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-10-XXX <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />-121- <br /> <br /> <br />
