In late summer/early fall Personnel <br />Committee rn ~mbers indicated a desire to discuss the effectiveness of questions used for <br />Plmming Co ~n~ission interviews (Sept 25, 2003) as a result of input from advisory group <br />members. In iaddition, committee members indicated a desire to discuss the possibility of <br />having applicants complete an application to assist with the screening process. <br /> <br /> [ · <br />For your conv. emence, staff has attached the questions used for the September 25th <br /> Cor~mission interviews. In addition, staff has attached <br />Planning <br /> sample <br /> questionnaires <br />(applications)ifrom cities that require them. Please note that Edina and Bloomington do <br />not conduct ir~terviews in addition to having applicants submit applications. Maple <br />Grove and Plymouth may (or may not) conduct interviews with applicants in addition to <br />requiring an ,plication. <br /> <br />Staff Recom~aendation: <br /> <br />Staff does no[-have a recommendation at this time.
