PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, January <br />23, 1990 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br />Mr. David Bawden <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the special Planning and Zoning Commission meeting to order at 7:00 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request For Preliminary Plat Approval Of Tooth Acres Addition; <br />Case Of James M. Martin: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that since the Planning and Zoning Commission's last discussion of the <br />proposed plat of Tooth Acres, the developer, Mr. James Martin, has negotiated a price for the sale <br />of the southern 57 acres of the subject property to Anoka County. The proposed plat has been <br />revised into all outlots; A and C would be retained by Mr. Martin for future development; B, D, E, <br />F and G would b~ purchased by the County with B and E reserved for the proposed Mississippi <br />River bridge crossing corridor. City Staff is recommending preliminary plat approval of Tooth <br />Acres, as modified into outlots. City Staff is also recommending that the cost of this special <br />Planning and Zoning meeting be absorbed by the City since the proposed plat accomplishes goals <br />for the City and provides a corridor for the proposed Mississippi River bridge. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to recommend that <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Commission/January 23, 1990 <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
