<br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #09-09-202A <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AMEND AGREEMENT NO. 89336, A JOINT POWERS <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, <br />THE CITY OF ANOKA, THE CITY OF RAMSEY, AND BURNS TOWNSHIP FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey, City of Anoka, MnDOT, Anoka County and Burns <br />Township have indicated a desire to work collaboratively on solving the issue of traffic congestion <br />of Trunk Highway 47; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the City of Ramsey understands that Trunk Highway 47 provides economic <br />vitality to its community and is a regional transportation corridor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey approved entering into this agreement by Resolution <br />#06-05-168 dated May 23, 2006; ;and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Amendment No. 4 to the agreement requests extending the contract <br />expiration date to June 15, 2010. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey City Council accepts Amendment No. 4 to Mn/DOT Contract <br />No. 89336 for Alignment Concepts, Preliminary Design, Environmental Review and <br />Official Mapping of TH 47. <br /> <br />2) That the mayor and the City Administrator are authorized to execute such agreement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Ramsey <br /> Councilmember Dehen <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Jeffrey <br /> Councilmember Look <br /> Councilmember McGlone <br /> CouncilmemberWise <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
