<br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-09-194 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />TO LOCATE A RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION IN THE R-1 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Community (the “Permittee”) has properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit (the “Permit”) on the property generally located on the <br />st <br />northwest corner of Variolite Street and 161 Avenue, and legally described as: <br /> <br />The Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter except the west 185.0 feet thereof <br />and except roads subject to easement of record, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />-Or upon recording- <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, St. Katharine Drexel’s First Addition <br /> <br /> (the “Subject Property”); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Planning Commission met on April 3, 2008 and conducted a public <br />hearing and recommended City Council approve the request. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> Permit <br />1.That this shall be perpetual in its duration so long as the conditions imposed <br />herein are complied with. <br /> <br /> <br />2.That the permitted uses on the site shall be limited to a religious institution and its <br />associated activities. <br /> <br /> Permit <br />3.That this shall remain in effect for all of Lot 1, Block 1 and any portion of <br />Outlot A that now, or in the future holds a religious institution as its principal use. <br />Permittee <br />The ability to expand the site operation shall exempt the from requiring <br />PermitPermittee <br /> amendments for expansions of the church facility. The shall not be <br />exempted from meeting any other applicable City Code and Building Code <br />requirements. <br /> <br /> <br />4.That, with regard to the site plan, comprehensive plan amendment, and minor plat <br />applications, the B-1 Business standards shall be utilized in reviewing the application. <br /> <br /> Subject <br />5.That no external activities, other than vehicles entering and exiting the <br />Property <br />, may occur prior to 6:00 a.m. and after 8:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
