<br />Council member Elvig introduced the following resolution for adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-04-091 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0671 RELATING TO A TO <br />THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM B-2 HIGHWAY BUSINESS <br />TO H-1 HIGHWAY #10 BUSINESS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />in accordance with Section 9.03.03 of the Ramsey the following <br />parcels will be rezoned from B-2 Highway Business to H-1 Highway 10 Business; <br /> <br />283225310003 283225310004 283225310007 283225310005 283225310002 <br />283225420002 283225430002 283225430001 283225430003 283225440006 <br />283225440011 283225440005 283225440002 283225440003 283225440004 <br />273225330005 273225330003 343225220002 273225330001 273225330007 <br />343225220001 343225220003 343225220010 343225220006 343225220007 <br />343225220008 343225220009 343225120014 343225210008 343225210007 <br />343225210015 343225210001 343225120010 343225210013 343225210014 <br />343225120008 343225120009 353225230004 343225120013 343225140023 <br />353225140027 353225140026 353225310007 353225230005 353225320022 <br />353225230006 353225240001 353225310022 353225310023 <br /> <br />(“Corridor”) <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, Mn/DOT has developed an Interregional Corridor (IRC) System <br />which identifies 2,930 miles of key transportation corridors that account for 1/3 of the <br />vehicle miles traveled in the State; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, traffic volumes on this IRC are expected to double by the year 2020 <br />and without careful planning and protection of the function of these roadways, the ability <br />to continue to provide efficient movement of goods and people is threatened; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, this increased traffic congestion along these corridors has been <br />recognized as a regional priority in the Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />(Mn/DOT) Metro Division 2005 – 2025 Transportation System Plan, Metropolitan <br />Council’s Transportation Policy Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, Mn/DOT prioritized the various corridors and selected seven for <br />further study, one of which is T.H. 10 from T.H. 24 in Clear Lake to I-35W, including the <br />T.H. 10 corridor through the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , as a result of the study, Mn/DOT released a document known as the <br />T.H. 10 Corridor Management Plan: T.H. 24 in Clear Lake to I-35W, dated January, <br />2002; and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-04-091 <br />PAGE 1 of 3 <br /> <br />
