Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-01-005 <br /> <br />RESOLUTON APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ADVERTISEMENT <br />FOR BID ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #02-34, MnDOT PARK AND RIDE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized this project at the August 13, 2002 City <br />Council meeting; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, site plan and specifications for the improvement project #02-34 have been <br />prepared by Hakanson Anderson and were presented to City Council for approval on August 19, <br />2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said plans and specifications were approved by the City Council on August <br />19, 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the bids that were received as a result of the official publication last fall <br />were rejected pursuant to a motion by the City Council on September 24, 2002, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That such contract documents and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto, and <br /> made part of are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2) That such publishing of the advertisement for bid for IP#02-34 is hereby approved. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br /> <br />
