City Council adopts the 2004 Proposed Municipal Budget; 2003, Payable 2004, Proposed Municipal Levy and sets the 2003 hearing dates for the 2004 Budget Public Hearing(s). September 15 City certifies 2004 Proposed Municipal Budget; 2003, Payable 2004, Proposed Municipal Levy and two 2004 Budget Public Hearing dates. September/October Finance Committee and Council work sessions as needed. Sept29-October 10 City Council work sessions on 2004 Goals, Objectives and 5-Year Departmental Plans. October 28 Finance Committee and City Council review and adopt 2004-2008 Capital hnprovement Program. November 11 Finance Committee and City Council to review and adopt the 2004 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges. November 11 2004 Goals, Objectives and 5-Year Departmental Plans submitted to City Council for adoption. November 10-21 County mails notice of proposed property taxes for payable 2004. November 24 - December 26 Public Hearing(s) on Final 2004 Municipal Budget and Levy Adopt 2004 Municipal Budget and Final 2003, Payable 2004 Levy December 29 Final levy certification to County auditor and certification of compliance with Truth in Taxation requirements to the Department of Revenue. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, that the City Council of Ramsey hereby approves the 2004 Budget Calendar.
