Councilmember Pearson introduced the following regolution and moved for itg adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-01-027B <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING DEBORAH SHEPHERD TO THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Planning Commission as of December 31, 2002; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, several qualified candidates have been interviewed and considered to fill <br />this vacancy; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee has recommended that the vacancy be filled by <br />Deborah Shepherd. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to appoint Deborah Shepherd to the Planning Commission for a <br />first Term of 01/01/03-12/31/06. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council member <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councihnember Kurak <br />Councihnember Stommen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councihnember Cook <br /> <br /> <br />
