Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-02-039 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #03-04 (SEALCOAT AND CRACKFILL COMMERCIAL <br />STREET - BUSINESS PARK 95 AREA (MCKINLEY STREET, UNITY STREET, <br />SUNFISH LAKE COURT) (AZURITE FROM CR 116 TO MCKINLEY) (140TH <br />AVENUE FROM UNITY TO RADIUM) (141ST AVENUE FROM AZURITE TO <br />BASALT)) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey Public Works Committee, adOpted <br />January 21, 2003, a feasibility study for the 2003 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared <br />by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #03-04 (Commercial <br />Street - Business P ark 9 5 A rea (McKinley Street, Unity Street, Sunfish Lake Court) (Azurite <br />Street from CR 116 to McKinley) (140th Avenue from Unity to Radium) (141st Avenue from <br />Azurite to Basalt)); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on February 11, 2003 <br />which indicates the following: <br /> <br />Estimated total cost of project <br /> <br />$40,771 <br /> <br />Estimated total assessment <br /> <br />$20,385 <br /> <br />Estimated assessment per unit <br />(3-year term) <br /> <br />Svaries <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of 1 ½ inch bituminous <br />filling of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of <br />$40,771. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the l lth day of <br />March, 2003 at Ramsey Fire Station No. 2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW at 7:00 p.m. <br />and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such heating and <br />improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br /> <br /> <br />
