Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-02-044 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH LABOR RELATIONS <br />ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR RECRUITMENT SERVICES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Curt Boganey will be leaving his assignment as Interim Human <br />Resources Manager creating a vacancy in the Human Resources Manager position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is critical to continued effective operation of the City that this position be <br />filled on an interim and permanent basis; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has recommended a contract with Labor Relations <br />Associates Incorporated to assist with the recruitment and selection of a full-time regular Human <br />Resources Manager; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee has reviewed this matter and recommended <br />approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the City Administrator is authorized to enter into a contract with Labor Relations <br /> Associates Inc. to provide recruitment and selection services for the position of Human <br /> Resources Manager in an amount not to exceed $6,800.00. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cook, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Cook <br /> Councilmember Kurak <br /> Councilmember Pearson <br /> Councilmember Strommen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
