Councilmember Pearson introduced the foIlowing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-02-045 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT <br />FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A NEW FAX MACHINE FOR CITY HALL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the current fax machine at City Hall was purchased in 1994 and is <br />experiencing frequent problems in its operations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has researched repair and replacement options; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, given the improvements in fax machine technology over the past decade, <br />staff recommends replacing the fax machine. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the transfer of $1500 from the <br />Equipment Replacement Fund for the purpose of purchasing a new fax machine for City <br />Hall. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councihnember Pearson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
