Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-02-057 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING MARK LEHMAN TO THE PARK AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION~ WITH LAURIE DUSTIN AS AN ALTERNATE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Park and Recreation Commission as of October 31, <br />2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, several qualified candidates have been interviewed and considered to fill <br />this vacancy; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee has recommended that the vacancy be filled by <br />Mark Lehman; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br /> Personnel Committee to appoint Mark Lehman to the Park and Recreation Commission <br /> for a first term ending 10/31/06. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cook, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Cook <br /> Councilmember Kurak <br /> Councilmember Pearson <br /> Councilmember Strommen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
