Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # 03-02-060 RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR FULL-TIME ASSISTANT CITY ADMINISTRATOR WHEREAS, Heidi Nelson was hired as a full-time Assistant City Administrator for the City of Ramsey and began work on February 19, 2002, subject to a one-year probationary period; and WHEREAS, Heidi Nelson has successfully completed her probationary period in an exemplary manner and her performance was documented by the City Administrator; and WHEREAS, it should be noted that during Ms. Nelson's firs year, she received recognition fi'om the Minnesota Association of Urban Management Assistants as "Assistant of the Year"; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its February 25, 2003 meeting agreed with the staff recommendation to end the probationary period for the full-time Assistant City Administrator effective February 19, 2003. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for full-time Assistant City Administrator, Heidi Nelson, effective February 19, 2003. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Cook, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Cook Councilmember Kurak Councilmember Pearson Councilmember Strommen Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
