Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLTUION #03-03-066 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH <br />IIOISINGTON KOEGLER GROUP, INC. FOR UPDATING THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ZONING AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF CITY CODE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 13, 2000, the Ramsey City Council accepted the proposal from <br />Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc., to review and update the City of Ramsey's Zoning and <br />Subdivision Chapter of City Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statutes, the City is obligated to update its zoning <br />and subdivision regulations to implement the new Comprehensive Plan adopted December, 2001 <br />and amended January, 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on July 11, 2002, the City of Ramsey entered into a contract agreement <br />with Hoisington Koegler Group, Inc. for the update of City's Zoning and Subdivision of Land <br />regulations in an amount not to exceed $43,2000.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, March 10, 2003, the City received a request for a contract amendment <br />dated March 6, 2003, in the amount of $6,960.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the request for contract amendment is based on the fact that the delayed <br />adoption of the updated Comprehensive Plan caused the project schedule to be readjusted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes an amendment to the contract with Hoisington <br />Koegler Group, Inc., in the amount of $6,960.00 for the purpose of completing the update of <br />the City's Zoning and Subdivision regulations. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the contract <br /> amendment on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />3) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided with a signed copy of this <br /> resolution. <br /> <br />ri'he motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br /> <br />
