Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-07-179 RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE 2003 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM – DIVISION C PARK TRAILS WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, e th Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2003 Pavement Maintenance Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on June 6, 2003; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received for the 2003 Pavement Maintenance Program – Park Trails: Bidder Div. Inc. 10,125.00 9,825.00 7,050.00 Engineers Est. AND WHEREAS, Bauerly Companies is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Bauerly Companies in the name of the City of Ramsey for the 2003 Pavement Maintenance Program - Bituminous Overlay Park Trails in the amount of $6,912.60 for the Division C base bid and Alternate A.
