Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-09-241 ND RESOLUTION APPROVING 2 PARTIAL PAYMENT TO HYDROCON, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #03-21 (SUNWOOD DRIVE LIFT STATION) th WHEREAS, on March 25, 2003, City Council adopted Resolution #03-03-078 approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended first partial payment to Hydrocon, Inc. in the amount of $46,585.25. WHEREAS, Principal City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended second partial payment to Hydrocon, Inc. in the amount of $60,396.25. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: nd 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes 2 Partial payment to Hydrocon, Inc. for Improvement Project #03-21, Sunwood Drive Lift Station project in the amount of $60,396.25 on September 9, 2003. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of September 2003. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Pearson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Pearson Councilmember Cook Councilmember Kurak Councilmember Strommen Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: none
