<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-09-245 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR BITUMINOUS <br />TENNIS COURT CONSTRUCTION FOR RIVER’S BEND PARK AND TITTERRUD <br />PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the following is a summary of the five quotes that were received: <br /> <br /> River’s Titterud Total Alternative <br />Bidder Bend Park Bid Bid <br />Advantage Track & Tennis, Inc. 7,999.00 5,400.00 13,399.00 1,600.00 <br />Blacktop Repair Service 8,000.00 3,860.00 11,860.00 3,000.00 <br />Dermco-LaVine Construction 6,528.00 4,464.00 10,992.00 2,180.00 <br />Finely Bros., Inc. 10,730.00 8,560.00 19,290.00 3,230.00 <br />The Tennis Court Doctor 8,860.00 5,650.00 14,510.00 No Bid <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, <br /> it appears that Dermco-LaVine Construction is the lowest responsible <br />bidder for the total bid amount. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Dermco-LaVine Construction in the name of the City of Ramsey for the <br />resurfacing of the Bituminous Tennis Court’s for River’s Bend and Titterud Park’s in the <br />amount of $10,992.00. <br /> <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Cook and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Cook <br /> Councilmember Kurak <br /> Councilmember Pearson <br /> Councilmember Strommen <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />The following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
