PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, <br />April 17, 1990 at 6328 143rd Lane N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Bradley Thorud <br />Mr. David Bawden <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The special meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order at 6:05 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Review Proposed Property Of Cedar Acres With Respect To <br />Drainage Needs In The Area: <br /> <br />The purpose of this special meeting was for representatives of City Staff, the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission, residents of Hunter's Hill and developers of Cedar Acres, Cedar <br />Hills and Chestnut Hills to meet to review drainage concerns in the area of Hunter's Hill <br />and the proposed Cedar Acres. Residents of Hunter's Hill present at the meeting were: <br />John Heinen (6370 143rd Lane), Phillip and Sharon Dahlgren (6328 143rd Lane), Brad <br />and Becky Lemke (14361 Uranium Street), Jerry and Cheryl Olson (6246 143rd Lane), <br />Terry and Chris Villeneuve (6249 143rd Lane), Billy and Dianne Popken (6300 144th <br />Avenue). Developers present were John Peterson and Wally Anderson. <br /> <br />Those present walked the subject property and viewed areas of concern with repect to <br />drainage. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka was directed to research the depth of the culvert at 143rd Lane and <br />Ramsey Blvd. N.W. and whether reopening it will resolve some of the drainage problems <br />in the area. <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Commission/April 17, 1990 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
