Councilmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #04-05-110 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONCRETE CURBWORK IN THE HUNTERS RIDGE <br /> SUBDIVISION TO IMPROVE DRAINAGE <br /> WHEREAS, the Hunters Ridge subdivision is scheduled to receive a sealcoat as a portion <br /> of the 2004 Street Maintenance Program: and <br /> WHEREAS, pavement deterioration has occurred in two locations of the subdivision as a <br /> consequence of poor drainage; and <br /> WHEREAS, the drainage in these two locations may be corrected through the installation <br /> of concrete curbing and cross gutters; and <br /> WHEREAS, a quotation has been received from a local contractor in the amount of <br /> $6,940 for the installation of the necessary work. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) Staff is directed to have the necessary concrete work installed at a contract cost not to <br /> exceed $6,940; and <br /> 2) Funding for this work is to be from the storm water utility fund. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Pearson <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> Councilmember Cook <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Kurak <br /> Councilmember Strommen <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br />
