CC Regular Session 4. 4. <br />Meeting Date: 12/13/2011 <br />By: Jo Thieling, Administrative Services <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Approve Assignments of Councilmembers to Serve on Various Boards/Committees <br />Background: <br />Mayor Ramsey has requested that the City appoint other representatives to the Lower Rum River Water <br />Management Organization (WMO), Quad Cities Cable Communications Commission (QCTV), and Youth First <br />Community of Promise Board (Youth First), to replace him starting in December. <br />Councilmember McGlone has agreed to serve as Commissioner for QCTV, Councilmember Backous, who is <br />currently the alternate for the WMO, will serve as the representative, and Councilmember Tossey has agreed to <br />serve on the Youth First Board. <br />At the beginning of each year, the Mayor makes recommendations for Council appointments to the various boards <br />and commissions/committees.
