CC Regular Session 4. 11. <br />Meeting Date: 12/13/2011 <br />By: Jo Thieling, Administrative Services <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Adopt Resolution #11-12-XXX Requesting No Change in Fiscal Disparities <br />Background: <br />Following discussion of fiscal disparities at the Finance Committee meeting of October 25, and a report on fiscal <br />disparities on the November 7 Council Consent Agenda, staff drafted a resolution formatted from a resolution <br />Anoka County adopted requesting no change in fiscal disparities. That resolution was presented to the Council at <br />the work session on November 22. Staffs recommendation was that the City continue the current fiscal disparities <br />policy because of the net benefit. Consensus of the Council was to support adoption of the resolution requesting no <br />change in fiscal disparities. That resolution is before Council this evening for formal adoption.
