PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Wednesday, <br />November 7, 1990 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota regarding Mr. Charles Delaney's request for a conditional use permit for a compound <br />facility in the R1 Rural Residential District to include a commercial dog kennel and more than one <br />residential structure on a lot of record. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner David Bawden <br />Commissioner Ben Deemer <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissmner Bradley Thomd <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Members Absent: Chairman Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman Hendriksen called the public hearing to order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Charles Delaney was present and stated that Armstrong Kennels have been in operation on the <br />subject property for 65 years. In addition to the kennel operation on the property, he is proposing <br />to build another home on the property for his daughter and son-in-law who are employees of the <br />kennel operation. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice-Chairman Hendriksen, Commissioners LaDue, Bawden, <br />Deemer, Terry and Thorud. Voting No: None.
